Some of the public transport services in Budapest (this year tram 2A and 61K) are decorated in festive Christmas lights in December and in the first week of January. 

Tram 2A (runs along the Danube bank in Pest between Boraros ter and Jaszai Mari ter) will also serve as Santa Claus' tram until 9th December. Joulupukki, the real Santa from Lappland, traveled on the tram for a few stops on 4th Dec.

From 9th Dec tram 2A with the festive lights on will run from Thursday to Sunday every 45 minutes from 16.30 till 20.15 (Departure is from Boraros ter).

Tram 61K will travel between Szel Kalman ter and Moricz Zsigmond korter in Buda from Monday to Wednesday. Departures (from Szel Kalman ter): every 45 minutes from 16.30 till 20.15.

The lighted trams  will not run on 24th and 31st December.</description>
