Goat Hostel has private rooms with 2 bed and twin ensuites near the main hostel building in the same street. There are lockers for keeping your valuable belongings safe. The Budapest Bubble Hostel offers clean, tidy rooms in dowtown near Múzeum körút. The hostel has a quiet, laid-back atmosphere so this not the place if you're after lots of partying. There are only 2 dorm rooms providing accommodation for max. a dozen of people. The lady who runs the hostel is very kind and helpful and will treat you as you were a guest in her home. The hostel overlooks the building of the Hungarian National Museum with its large garden. Lots of sights, cafes, restaurants are located nearby that you can reach by walk. Free tea and coffee is provided in the shared kitchen, free use of internet WiFi in the rooms and in the common room, security locks, bed linen are the main amenities in Bubble. Guests can prepare their meals and store food in spacious kitchen. It's equipped with coffee maker, water boiler, electric stove, refrigerator, pans,pots, paltes and silverware. Public transport options are excellent since the hostel is between the M3 (blue) and M1 (yellow) metro lines and a trolley service runs just in fron of the hostel building. Although the Carpe Noctem is not a loud, party hostel I wouldn't recommend it for people who want peace and quiet. This a hostel for socializing and making friend from other parts of the world. That's why it has a large common area with bean bags and a corner sofa. The extremely helpful staff will go out of their way to help you settle in and plan your stay in Budapet. They tell you what to see, which restaurants are good and affordable. Jus tell them what you want to do and they arrange it for you: cheap theatre and opera tickets, caving tours, wlaking tours, pun crawls 8with the local pub tour guides), trips to Budapest's thermal baths, etc. Room Rates: cc. 15 $ (cc. 10 €)

The hostel is about 2 minutes from Deák Square - one of Budapest's major transportation hubs - where the 3 metro lines meet. There're also several tram (trams No. 47, 49), and bus routes (buses No. 4, 9, 16, 105), as well as night bus services (night buses No. 909, 914, 931, 950, 966, 979) in the area. If you plan to do lots of sightseeing both on foot and using public transport than the 7 x 24 central Hostel is a perfect choice for accommodation. You can reach many important sights like St Stephen's Basilica, Váci Street, Andrássy Avenue with the Hungarian Opera House, the former Jewish Quarter of Budapest- by walk, but if you want to see sights that are a bit far by walk you can hop on a metro, tram or bus. The rooms are nice and sunny with warm decor. No bunk beds but comfortable, wide beds! There are 2 rooms with 2 beds (one of them has private bathroom & toilet), 1 room with 3 beds, 2 rooms with 4 beds with private bathrooms. All rooms have free WiFi and cable internet, and there's also free internet access and WiFi available in the common room. Free towels and bed linen are provided. The common room and most rooms are air-conditioned which you're going to appreciate during hot summer days. The fully-fitted kitchen is stocked with tea and coffee that you can use free of charge. Security is excellent with PIN coded doors, and lockers. The staff is very kind and will help you with anything regarding you stay. A welcome drink is included in the room price. This downtown Budapest hostel is recommended for families or for anyone who want quiet, centrally located accommodation. At 7x24 Central Budapest Hostel you will feel at home. The rooms (1 double room and 4 single rooms) have large, comfortable beds (no bunks). The double room has TV with a DVD player (you can get some DVDs from the common room). There's wireless internet in the rooms and in the common area which also has a internet access that you can use free of charge. Breakfast is included and coffee and tea are free at any time. The hostel is in an old building, and though it's not air-conditioned doesn't get too hot in the summer. The hostel is focused on single travellers and couples so it's more like an apartment than an ordinary hostel. The decor is nice with vivid colors, and pieces of contemporary art. It has several bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 1 kitchen, 1 community room. All private rooms can be locked. The bedrooms and the common room are non-smoking. You can also rent a private ensuite with bathroom and kitchen (no internet) near the hostel building. Owners of the place are very attentive and helpful.
The double room has a comfortable bed, a TV and it's best for couples or for thsoe who prefer privacy. The large dorm with 8 beds has a TV set and a DVD player. There's also a 4-bed room, and a 6-bed room which can accommodate small groups. Guests share 3 bathrooms. Other features are:

Trams 4,6 run along the Boulevard and M2 (red) metro has a station at Blaha Lujza tér, so you'll have excellent public transport connections, too Mandragora offers 3 rooms each with a different style:
There's also an apartment on the top floor with its own bathroom and kitchen. It offers a fine view of Gellért Hill in Buda. The rental fee of the apartment is 80 € (cc. 117 $). Mandragora is an intimate, clean hostel where you can relax after a busy day.
Getting there: take bus 7E or 173E from Keleti Train Sttaion (on M2 metro line) and get off at Etele tér stop. From there the hostel is a 10-minute walk. Or from Koszolányi Dezső tér: take bus 150E (get off at menyecske utca and walk along neszmélyi út for about 1 minute), or bus 150 (get off at Péterhegyi tér and you'll be right at Moha Hostel). Getting to Koszolányi tér: take buses 7, 7E, 173, 173E 8from Keleti Train Sttaion, Blaha Lujza tér, Ferenciek tere) or travel with tram 49 from Deák F. tér, Astoria or Kálvin tér). Moha is a small hostel in the green Buda side of Budapest. Peaceful neighbourhood, nice garden, friendly staff, modern, youthful interior characterize the place. You can get to the city centre in 30 minutes using public transport. Internet access is free of charge, with WiFi in the rooms and in the lobby which also has internet connection and a computer to use. Moha has two 6-bed rooms, two 4-bed rooms, and a private double room. A large well-equipped kitchen, security lockers, cable TV, boardgames, Playstation and a BBQ area in the garden are the other main fetaures of this hostel.
