Ticket prices:
Tasting tickets: 100 HUF and 1000 HUF: these bones are the means of payment for tasting wines at the wine festival. Depending on the wine maker and the quality of the wine price of 1 dl wine starts from around 300-500 HUF.
You also pay for food with tasting tickets which can purchased at every information desk in the area of the Budapest Wine Exhibition & Fair.

More than 170 wine distributors exhibit their products from Hungarian wine regions and foreign countries as well. You can taste culinary delicacies between two sips of wine: fried and grilled meats, sausages, stuffed cabbage will be made in open-air kitchens, but lighter snacks such as scones, töki pompos (a flat bread-like pastry baked in oven), and a selection of cheese will also be available. |

Colorful programs accompany the fair on two stages: musical performances, men’s choir, folk dancing, jazz music, etc. You can become a wine judge for a few minutes!
Visit the Vinagora Tent! You can meet the Ace Winegrowers of Hungary and of course taste their wines.
Don’t hesitate to bring your children too, there are programs for them as well: puppet theatre, mediaeval playhouse. Every day between 10 am and 6 pm you can leave your children at the childcare where qualified attendants will look after your little ones while you’re tasting wines. They can draw, listen to stories and have delicious grapes.

During the two-day lecture series you can learn about the secrets and history of wine making and viniculture from acknowledged experts. Wine tastings are prominent part of this popular educational program of the Budapest Wine and Champagne Festival.
Date: 11th Septemeber, from 13.00
Come and see or join the parade! Representatives of Hungary’s wine regions and the festival’s guest countries, members of the Hungarian Wine Orders and associations, cheese masters, the Order of the Wine Knights and folk ensembles from the wine regions will march in the procession.

Venue: Palace of Arts (Mupa-Művészetek Palotája at Lágymányosi Bridge in Pest)
This year the gala concert pays tribute to the legendary greats of Hungarian national romanticism. Let’s listen to their wonderful music and remember: Erkel, Dohnányi, Liszt and Kodály.

You can bid for special rare bottles of wines by highly acknowledged wine makers. This year’s novelty is a special section for the catering trade. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service.
Date: 4th-5th September
Venue: Szentendre, Open-Air Village Museum
The museum revives 19th century vintage traditions. You can watch grape harvest and vintage festivities, visit cellars in the recently opened section. Taste wines, grapes and have traditional vintage dishes. Children can take part in various activities, for example scarecrow making.
There will be have fresh, sweet grapejuice („must” in Hungarian). After a couple of glasses of wine you can join the folk music and dance groups if you feel like.

Venue: Hungarian National Gallery, Buda Castle
Every year there's an art exhbition during the Budapest Wine and Champagne Festival. This year photos by Zoltán Szalay will be exhibited. The pictures introduce the tradition-guarding Hungary of the 1970s.
Come to Budapest in early September and enjoy not only the sunny indian summer but the programmes of the Budapest International Wine and Champagne Festival! And taste great Hungaraian wines!
TIP: the Wine Village (Borfalu) held behind the Museum of Fine Arts on Ötvenhatosok tere is another great event to taste Hungarian wines.
