Although price shouldn't be the most important factor to consider when searching for apartments for rent in Budapest but why pay more for a flat of the same qualiy?
Here're some tips on how and where to find cheap apartments in Budapest. |
Apartment Rental Fees in Budapest
Rental fees of Cheap Budapest Apartments in the city centre start from cc. 15-20 € per person per night or from 35-40 € per aparment/night in the low season.
Most apartment owners or agencies give per person per night prices for the low season (October-May), excluding Christmas and New Year's Eve, and Easter) and for the high season (June-September). Some apartment rental agencies provide different prices for a so-called mid-season too (April-June).
Rental prices are the most expensive during the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, the Sziget Festival, - both events are held usually in August - and during the Christmas-New Year period.
Rental fees are usually 20-25% higher in the high tourist season in Budapest than in the low season.
Other apartment letting companies set their prices for a month rental.
There's usually a minimum rental period which can be from 2-3 days up to weeks.
If you team up with others and rent an apartment together you can pay considerably less per person than renting the whole flat alone.
These low budget, affordable apartments are small studio or 1-bedroom apartments furnished, with heating, gas, electricity and water. Satelite TV, fridge, stove, microwave oven, cooking utensils, washing machine, bed linen and towels are usually included in the rental fee, but always read all the details and description of the flat.
Cleaning of the apartment is usually also included in the rental fee, but do check it.
