The award-winning exhibition that recounts the life of the late Diana, princess of Wales has finaly come to Budapest.
The outstanding collection will be displayed first time in Europe in Budapest.
The exhibit comes straight from the Spencer family's home, the Athorpe Estate in England where it has been on display since 1998. The
The Károlyi-Csekonics Residence in central Budapest gives home to the Diana A Celebration between 31. January - 03. May, 2009.
A range of 150 objects will be exhibited that provide a glimpse into Diana's personal and social life.
Portraits of her ancestors, family jewels, paintings, heirloom, photos will be also on display to help you understand Diana's life more.
Video clips from her childhood and from her engagement to Prince Charles and the events leading to their Royal wedding enhance the experience of those who visit the exhibition.
Some of the priceless items to be shown in the Diana Exhibition include:
- 20 dresses, suits, evening gowns including Diana's stunning wedding gown,
- 2 diamond tiaras and other jewels,
- the original text of Earl Spencer's tribute to Diana at the funeral inWestminster Abbey.
