Yeah, Eden is a ripoff but a small pain compared to the greek bumboy horse riders that play with bow and arrows (the fudge packers that keep posting useless comments on this page).
this page is intended to find safe bars for real men that love the company of a naked girl as opposed a mans penis.
If you have nothing useful to put forward about these great europian strip bars then go and post somewhere about something closer to home... say boylovers???

I spent several weeks in Budapest and did attend many of the strip clubs there. I personally never experienced anything bad however, there were 4 of my friends that we taken for everything they had. We were told not to frequent a certain part of the city due to Americans/tourists getting charged for food and or drinks that they didn't order. Well my friends didn't listen and they too were held hostage by the bouncers until they found the money for the items that they did not order.

I visited Captain Jacks the entire time in Budapest and had not one bad experience. I recommend this bar to anyone.

Same ...similar "problem"!

"Empty" human beings are travelling in a country like Magyarorszag searching for sex and drugs , searching for human-meat and ...nonsence, like in Amsterdam or London!

Poor "Europeans", sex and drugs are for free in cities and places full of decadence and brutality like your typical "western" capitals, those capitals you have made afterwars... Don't visit Magyarorszag and Budapest for same reasons, like to "promenande" in Amstel-banks or Thames-banks..., stay there and enjoy sex, drugs and ...rock & roll!

Let Magyarorszag and Budapest still offering Civilization and Life's-quality and change your destination in search sex and drugs!

Our Hellenic (Greek) Horseback Archery Team (not a single person, but a whole Team) travelling for last 15 years in Magyarorszag still feels happy to meet polite Magyars in order to enjoy safely the great HEALTHY changes of modern Hungarian Life!

Firstly, most of the streets in Budapest is filled with girls that work in pairs.
They work for all the "special" clubs and bars.
If they stop you and ask the normal thing like "you got a light" etc and end up chatting with them, they will at one point ask if you want to join them at a bar.

These bars have very high prices and the first drinks menu is priceless. The girls order what they want as that is their job, mostly expensive stuff. When the bill comes, it is like 500€ for what the girls have consumed.

If you pay the bill ( never do that ) the girls get a fee ( 10% ) and they go back the the street to pick up more people.

Best thing to do if you are in a non strip bar call 112 ( police tell them the club name )
They will come, but just before they show up, the manager comes and ask if you just can pay for the drink you have had ( 50 € )

First rule is, never go to a bar that is not open to the streets, if you have to go up or down in an elevator, then don't go, keep to the bars that can be seen from the crowed streets.

Again most local girls walking the streets 2 and 2 are very friendly and are huslers. If you want to meet local girls, find out where the locals go.

Me and my two friends had the same problem. Within' 30 minutes and after 3 beers we had to pay a bill of 640.000HUF. Everybody went with a bulldog of the bar to the cashmachine end we got 430.000 together. Also we had to empty our wallets. Running or discussing wasn't possible. You are walking in a real life show of criminals.

Please don't go to this club!! They'll rip off al your money!

I had a similar experience at Eden as the person that posted. I was tricked into buying over priced wine and threatened with violence if I did not pay. Its one thing to be overcharged for a drink its another to be extorted and held against your will. Obviously they know who to pay off to stay in business and act like criminals. This is unfortunatly becoming typical of Budapest with a few assholes want-to-be maffia types thinking they are above the law and making a living ripping people off, instead of actually making an honest living. I only hole to one day return the favor to the little fuck wad manager. Budapest was a fun city in the 90's but now its just a turist trap and not worth wasting time and money there.

Sorry Mate but this is your fault. I hate people like you complaining afterwards instead of informing yourself before you do things like this. There are strip bars in Budapest where you can go and have great fun such as Marylins but following 2 good looking girls on the street into some shady clubs is just stupid.

Sorry to mention dear Traveler: it's your own responsibility to oppose such a treatment!!
Budapest and Hungary has a lot of positive interest places and you choose the worst one! Same dirty places are in your city, in our city (Athens) everywhere. Don't blame except yourselg for this "choise". We are traveling in Hungary (and Budapest) every second month since 1992 and NEVER oppose a similar problem. to the opposite, we met a very gentle and literate People, excellent Museums and athletic complexes, very attractive hospitality wherever we stay and all these for countless travels in this last aristocratic "heart" of Europe. If you prefer "striptease Bars", sorry, it's up to you!
