A charming, cozy restaurant hidden in a side-street in the buzzing V. district. Pleasure and art of living is the La Fontaine's motto that's reflected in the menu.

Abszint is a French-inspired restaurant on the fashionable Andrássy Avenue near the Hungarian State Opera House. Besides southern-French dishes a decent selection of Hungariain specilalities, like goulash or strudel are also offered.

There're a couple of tasty vegetarian and pasta dishes, too, like the whole-wheat penne with broccoli and Gorgonzola. For dessert try the chocolate truffles or the chocolate bomb with orange sauce.

Occasionally live accordiaon music is played that adds romantic touch to the slightly hippie ambience.
