Pop-rock Concerts This year you can chose from the following light music concerts in Budapest: Pop-Rock Concerts in BudapestGogol Bordello, 8th April, 2008, 19.00 Gogol Bordello, the gypsy punk band from Lower East Side of New York will be giving a live performance in Budapest Sportarena. If you miss this concert you have a chance to listen to them at the Sziget festival in August. Traditionaly programs of the Budapest Fair (a weekend festival celebrating the withdrawal of the Soviet troops from Hungary in 1999) end with a free concert on Ötvenhatosok tere (large plaza along Dózsa györgy út near Heroes' Square). Budapest's oldest inn has Gypsy music in the evenings at 19.00-23.00. You can listen to gypsy music in the restauranst of most first-class Budapest hotels too.
