A few years ago I knew almost nothing about building a website let alone how to make it successful (I mean being found by searchers who seek information about the topic of my website).   But here I'm now owning Budapest Tourist Guide consisting of cc. 160 pages and together with my husband we plan to make a couple of more websites.

An Idea Was Born

I'm an environmental engineer by profession but after a couple of years I've realized that my heart just wasn't in my job.

One thing I was certain about that when it was time for my son to go to nursery school I didn't want to return to my previous workplace, to the same, boring 9 to 5 rut.

I had the desire to create something for and on my own, perhaps a small business which I can run form my home office. The perfect enterprise I had in my mind had to have the following characteristics:

• low start up cost,

• flexible work hours, so that I can concentrate on my family as well,

• doesn't require special skills

• it's something I'm enthusiastic about- I didn't want another dull job

When my son was a couple of months old, during his nap time I searched the internet for work-at-home-opportunities. I kept coming accross a website building tool called SBI (Site Build It!).

I spent literally all my free time in front of the computer finding out everything about SBI.

As soon as I read the success stories of people using SBI and its series of other tools I knew I'd found what I was looking for.

I wanted to create a website about our hometown Budapest; furthermore I wanted our website to be among the top tourists sites about Budapest then earning some money with it.

So with tremedous passion and zeal I started to build our website. As a complete newbie to website-building, SBI's great tools and advice given by fellow-SBIers through their forum I managed to overcome the difficulties.

Where Are We Now?

After 2 years and two months registering our domain name tens of thousands visit our site every month and the number of visitors is growning month by month.

We became so enthusiastic about building successful websites and earning money with them that we have several projects undergoing now.
